The White Lion Christmas Menu 2011


Starters

Chicken Liver Pate with Toast and Orange and Red Onion Marmalade
Warm Goats Cheese with Sweet Peppers and Avocado Salad
A blend of creamed potatoes, onions, parsley & blue cheese in a mouthwatering soup topped with  Croutons
Pressed Terrine of Crab and Leeks with a lemon & cracked black pepper mayonnaise.
All served with bread from the cake shop.

Mains

Traditional roasted local turkey presented with sausage, bacon, pork stuffing, gravy, game chips & cranberry sauce.
Braised Beef with Bacon Lardons, Button Onions and Button Mushrooms
Pot roasted guinea fowl in a Juniper and Red Currant Sauce
Homemade Potato Gnocchi with Wild Mushrooms
Fillet of Salmon with Lemon, Ginger and Fresh Coriander
Crumbed Lemon Sole Fillet with Prawns, Capers and Parsley
All served with Fresh Seasonal Vegetables
